Cinesite closes its video department

Article Abstract:

Cinesite Europe, a film effects facility, has ceased the operation of its video commercials and promo unit as it succumbed to the slump in the films and commercials market. The closure was a part of the company's prerogative to funnel capital into just one of its two businesses. However, many people in the industry were surprised by the closure, with one rival company executive expressing that the business is sporadic, but the continuity of commercial revenues can maintain the stability of the operation.
