C4 and Five see 2007 audience shares slide

Article Abstract:

The audience share of Channel 4 in 2007 has dipped 11.7% to 8.63%, the largest fall among the terrestrial channels in the United Kingdom. Five's all-hours audience share have also declined, and terrestrial channels in general have lost audience share to multichannel companies. The 2007 audience share of various UK channels are discussed.

C4 slides with end of Big Brother

Article Abstract:

The audience ratings of C4 took a dive during the week from August 15 to 21. The reason is that 'Big Brother' finale was shown in the previous week, along with Ashes and launch of 'Lost'. The market share of BBC1, BBC2 and ITV1 are also discussed.

X factor struggles to compete with BB

Article Abstract:

Channel 4's reality show "Big Brother" has outperformed Independent Television channel 1's "The X Factor: Battle of the Stars". The X Factor, which saw the like of celebrities, failed to draw audience share more than 29.4%.
