C4 set to get the better of BBC2

Audience share of all channels of Channel 4 is likely to exceed that of all channels of BBC2. After 11 years, Channel 4 has been able to achieve this feat. The market shares of other television broadcasting companies like ITV and Five are also discussed. Statistics of audience ratings of all channels are also presented for comparison.

Bombings fuel demand for news

A surge in television audience ratings of news channels since July 7, 2005, especially the ITV1's and Channel 4's news broadcasts, is observed. A comparative analysis of the television audience ratings of different news bulletins on BBC1, ITV1, C4 and BBC2 is presented.
