Article Abstract:

It is reported that television viewers who are partially sighted or dyslexic will have to bear the brunt of the cessation of analogue transmission. An examination of the impacts and implications of the government decision to end analogue transmission is presented.

The political and regulatory issues of broadcasting rights of British channels are discussed. Sky' s Premiership deal to telecast domestic test cricket and European Commission' s sports broadcasting regulations are also discussed in this context.
