Clarke of works

Article Abstract:

It is vital to encourage communication, according to Bafta Chief Executive Jane Clarke. Throughout her career, she has always been regarded as a popularizer who is keen to draw people in. Her main responsibilities will be to raise Bafta's profile, to recruit younger members and to organize important debates and events. Bafta is seeking to be influential throughout the year, not just once a year through its film and television awards.
