A Production Manager (PM) who has a little knowledge of everything is necessary to make a television production. Program tariffs are fixed so independent producers have to focus on cost cutting. Different methods of saving cost without compromising on the quality of production are discussed.

The United Kingdom Department of Trade and Industry, Andrew Pinder, and Douglas Alexander are working on tax breaks for broadband content production. Broadband services have become widely available in Britain, but quality content in broadband networks is lacking.

Tax breaks to drive broadband uptake
