Discovery airs first C4 output

Article Abstract:

Discovery Channel UK is airing the first of a number of new factual programs produced by Channel 4. The spring/summer 2003 schedule will include four programs from Channel 4's British history catalog. In addition, Discovery has commissioned 30 hours of original programming covering such topics as the terrorist seige of a Moscow theater and a history of rock 'n' roll, among others.

TMF airs first live show

Article Abstract:

The Music Factory, MTV's freeview channel, has given its first ever contract for live show to Optimistic Entertainment. The show "Pop the Q" will be a presenter show combining celebrity guests with games and quizzes along with music video content. Optimistic Entertainment is the owner of TV channel Nation 217 and maker of Flipside TV.

At It cracks US with TLC orders

Discovery owned cable network TLC has given an order to United Kingdom based At It Productions for producing a television series, tentatively named as Miami Children's Hospital. This is the first US order for At It.
