EEO-record keeping

Article Abstract:

The Commission reviews the performance of a television station before renewing its licence. This is done on the basis of the reports filed by the station and the records on recruitment and hiring maintained by it. The station has to file an EEO Program Report and an FCC Form 395-B and if the Commission finds the results unsatisfactory, it will take a more detailed look at the station's affirmative action program. The station must keep a confidential record of its full-time and part-time employees and conduct a regular self-analysis of its performance.
