Five joins ratings war with teatime Oz hour

Article Abstract:

Five is joining the war for teatime viewers after it acquired BBC1's long-standing soap "Neighbours" for 300 million pounds sterling. The show will be featured in Five's weekday "Australian Hour" from 5:30pm, and it is projected to boost the channel's average share of 13.5% between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. The ratings of other Australian shows in UK are discussed.
