Article Abstract:

Specialist finance organisers are assisting television broadcasters and producers to arrange co-production financing on a global basis. The finance organiser finds potential partners to bridge the gap between funding and budget, saving time and effort on the producers part. As financing becomes evermore complex the need for such companies is increasing. One such deal-maker is Susan Temple of Temple International, who has won over 12.4 million pounds sterling worth of investment in 7 years. Deal-makers have to be adept at dealing with potential investors and also producers who may feel they are losing creative control.
