Half of the BBC docs execs to be culled

Article Abstract:

BBC's director general, Mark Thompson is planning to cut almost 420 posts in the company's documentaries and contemporary factual division. Thompson is contemplating such a move to cut down the costs. Consequent to the move, half of the executive producers at BBC's factual division would be laid off.
