An HD camera with a 101 lens costs around 3,200 pounds sterling a week; the Super 16mm equivalent is 1,200 pounds sterling. A 50% to 60% price cut could increase the number of television dramas, series and documentaries being shot on Super 16mm.

Article Abstract:
In order to film "No Angels" a comedy drama the cast and crew of World Productions' decamped to a real psychiatric hospital in a remote part of Yorkshire. The vast rooms of the hospital were used to house a pub, a nightclub and the girls' flat.
