Industry gathers to debate Ofcom's PSP

Article Abstract:

An overview is presented of Ofcom's hypothetical tender for its proposed public sector publisher with an annual budget of [pounds sterling]300m. It was attended by two hundred members of the industry. Ofcom commissioned three consultancies to present models of how an ideal PSP should be. Human capital, Yoomedia and Spectrum Strategy led the presentations, and shadow tenders were made to a panel comprising Ofcom's Adam Singer, former C4 director Tim Gardam, chairman of Top Up TV David Chance, and Mersey TV's Joyce Taylor.
