It turns out that the 'All New' Top of the Pops (TOTP) is similar to CD:UK. TOTP claims good viewer ship but that is only because it occurs between two well watched programmes. TOTP can do well if it comes up with something original.

Sky One brings in Jack to lead ratings revival

'24' shown on BBC during weekends did not attract that many viewers, as did Sky TV, which showed the same program on weekdays at 2100 slot. Here a comparison is made of popularities of programs in the UK.
