Article Abstract:

Chapman Entertainment's "Fifi and the Flowertots" in December 2006 joined the highly competitive merchandising market for pre-school properties, earning around 10 million products worldwide. "The X Factor", "Coronation Street", and "Little Britain", shows that have a more adult viewership, also joined the licensing and marketing (L&M)sector. Case studies on these show's L&M performances are given.

Five nicks MTV awards

Channel Five has gained the contract for terrestrial rights to broadcast the MTV Europe Music Awards for the year 2005. The agreement also includes promotional and marketing opportunities around the awards that will be taken place in Lisbon, on November 3, 2005.
