Marine fisheries as a general education topic

Article Abstract:

A course focused on marine fisheries management could help students gain a better grasp of the complex issue of sustainablility in exploring the biological, sociological and economic productivity of a fishery. It would also help the students in understanding the process of harvesting fish populations and empower them to become more engaged in the management of a public resource.
