ITV snubs BBC offer of chat show talks

Article Abstract:

Britain's Independent Television has rejected the British Broadcasting Corporation's offer to jointly devise a strategy for sharing information about suspect talk show guests. ITV feels it has not been hurt as badly as the BBC has by scandals involving fake interviews on daytime television, and says that its program, "Trisha," has been vindicated of collaborating with phony guests. Both networks have banned the use of booking agencies and noe ask guests to sign truth declarations.
