Mixed fortunes at BBC1 as Hunt takes top job

The audience share of BBC1, UK's most-watched channel, has gone down from 22.7% to under 22% in 2007, a decline of 3.2%. Its peaktime share has dropped 3% from 24.4% to 23.7%. New recruit Jay Hunt faces a challenge to stem the ratings decline.

BBC1's Dinner serves up a rare Sunday hit

BBC1's The Dinner Party took 6.9 million viewers/29.4% share in the Sunday 9pm slot, beating ITV1's Britain's Favourite View and Hell's Kitchen. A list of the 10 top-rating BBC1 dramas for 2007 is also included.
