Article Abstract:

Steve Orchard, the operations director of the GWR Group, discusses about the two ineffective tools being currently used for audience measurement on commercial radio - the RajarEs diary methodology which is prone to human error, and meter technology which is still in the nascent stage. According to him a better gauge is to check whether people are buying whatever is being advertised.
