Pact to fill the gap?

Article Abstract:

UK television programme producers have devised a plan to increase the number of independently produced programmes sold abroad. The Pact organisation represents television producers and deals directly with political issues surrounding the industry. Pact calls for a change to the way the Office of Fair Trading suppresses business through quotas and tariffs. The report was produced after the industry was found to be 282 million pounds sterling over budget in 1996.
