The effect of the end of the soap Brookside on the industry is detailed. Brookside was way ahead of it time in terms of the story where others are still trying to catch up. Mal Young, producer relives his experiences of how they kept the soap interesting to the viewers over the years.

Crossroads fails (again)

ITV plans to cancel "Crossroads," a soap opera, after it posted weak ratings in its current slot. The show will be moved to an earlier time slot before it is cancelled this summer.
