Rumble in ITVEs jungle

Article Abstract:

The proposed withdrawal of ITV from regional non-news production that was sanctioned by regulator Ofcom, has been severely criticized by regional production executives. The BBCEs plans to add more regional programming once it moves to Manchester will come through only in 2008, while jobs will go from 2005 itself. A silver lining seems to be the proposed city TV services and different types of content and services exploiting broadband and new technologies.
