Sex and violence OK in film but not on TV

Article Abstract:

A study conducted by the Independent Television Commission has found that sex, violence and bad language are more acceptable in films than in television dramas. The response from viewers has been deemend as a result of a subconcious personal attachment to life-like characters in the TV dramas while viewes tend to use characters in films as a way to escape realities in life. Thus, films are expected by its audience to thrill and entertain through the use of big-budget special effects while TV dramas are counted on to reflect everyday life and employ a more narrative format.
