Article Abstract:

Producers at BBC Documentaries interviewed more than 1,250 people for the four-part BBC2 documentary 'Naked.' It was then necessary to select a much smaller number of people to be interviewed on camera for the documentary, which looks at how people feel about their bodies in adolescence, in the prime of life, in middle age and in old age. Producer/director Lucy Blakstad wished to film the interviewees' bodies in as glossy a manner as the budget of 120,000 pounds sterling per show would allow.
