The blame game

Article Abstract:

United Kingdom based television industry majors Independent Television (ITV) and Granada are blaming each other for the failure of most their shows made by Granada and broadcasted by ITV. Executives of ITV feel that the Granada should cut down the number of agreements and concentrate more on the ITV projects to produce better shows. Key executives of Granada are blaming that the poor quality of broadcasting is the main reason for the failure.

TWI wins Asian Games

Article Abstract:

TWI and Swiss based HBS have jointly acquired a contract worth $100 million for telecasting the Asian Games, 2006 from Qatar. The contract will not only be beneficial for the companies but will also provide a boost to the UK production and kit industry. The companies' plans for execution of the contract are discussed.

Can Ofcom's idea fly?

Public Service Broadcasting (PSB) in UK needs to be revamped. Ofcom feels the need for new public service providers to bring a radical change in PSB. The viability of Ofcom's idea is examined.
