The making of...

Article Abstract:

Producer Kate Valentine's idea to recreate the Norman conquest of 1066 Battle of Hastings has become a reality. "Bayeux Tapestry" tells the story of William the Conqueror and King Harold through the eyes of Simon Armitage and Jeff Young who wrote the parts, and uses authentic sound effects such as twigs, newspaper and mud to create a battlefield. "Bayeux Tapestry" was produced and directed by Kate Rowland.
