The rebirth of a TV nation?

Article Abstract:

The likelihood that Scotland will be devolved from the United Kingdom has led to calls for the broadcasting industry in Scotland to come under Scottish control. Scotland Forward Chairman Nigel Smith sees the broadcasting industry as a significant issue for a new Scottish Parliament. He wants a larger share of licence and advertising revenues for Scottish broadcasters. Some industry observers suggest that a Scottish Parliament would interfere with broadcasting output and demand greater censorship of programs.
