TiVo versus NDS's XTV

Vice-president of TiVo UK Andrew Cresci argues that TiVo will become the favorite PVR technology in Europe through word of mouth, while interactive vice-president of NDS Richard Cross argues that NDS's XTV is the way of the future because the set-top box provides flexibility for viewers, advertisers and broadcasters.

Spectrum deals returned

Article Abstract:

BBC and Channel 4 may soon have to pay for analog spectrum services, encouraging digital broadcasting. The BBC could see some reimbursement by the government for fees paid as recognition for public service, and Channel 4 could receive the same benefits since they are public service broadcasters as well.

Granada to make Airlines for US market
