The "EastEnders" on Christmas Day is the highest-rating TV program in the UK in 2007 with 14.38 million viewers or a 55% share, followed by "Doctor Who Christmas Special" which listed 13.31 million/52% share. Channels depend on such shows to maintain their overall market share. The top 100 shows of 2007, as well as the top 10 programs by genre, are tabulated.
