Article Abstract:

There has been considerable discussion of international expansion in the UK television broadcasting industry, but no firm commitments have yet been made, and the industry remains very small in comparison with truly international operators. Few UK broadcasting companies have established a coherent strategy for international expansion, and no UK commercial operations rank among the top 10 European media concerns.
