Will younger viewers want to make friends with Dave?

Article Abstract:

Brands have substantial financial effect on companies and in this light, UKTV G2 has renamed its company to Dave to increase the young adult male viewership. Ten Alps stocks in 2007 fell to low 60s, while the shares of Shed Media were registered at around 91 pounds compared to its 52-week high of 129 pounds. UKTV G2's new name and the stock performances of independent producers are analyzed.

As web ad spend gains on TV, is all advertising created equal?

Article Abstract:

It is projected that spending on Internet advertising will overtake spending on television advertising some time in 2009. Much of the growth seen on Internet advertising is due to search advertising, which will grow around 35% in 2008. Other forecasts for Internet advertising, as well as the revamping of ITV's programming schedule, is discussed.
