Formation of risk beliefs, joint production and willingness to pay to avoid skin cancer

Article Abstract:

A survey of risk beliefs regarding skin cancer was used to uncover new evidence on people's attitudes toward risky situations. Results show that risk beliefs on skin cancer account for factors including skin type, complexion, and sunlight exposure history. Reservation prices for a sun protection product were used to study the relationship between risk beliefs and willingness to pay. A new approach for the treatment of joint production in a household production framework was developed for support.

Production function estimation: reviving the primal

Article Abstract:

The estimation process for a production function is evaluated based on the assumption of an empirical duality theory and the removal of complex aggregate market data effects. The estimators followed a uniform framework. However, the within estimator is supported by the optimization error's added data and the dependent factor's smaller variance. Limits in function construction are resolved by integrating some instrumental variables.

Signal extraction and estimation of a trend: a Monte Carlo study

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to analyze a couple of issues associated with stochastic trend modelling (STM). These concerns correlate with the capability of the generalization of the STM to determine complex processes with a minimum of prior restrictions and the decomposition of the data into trend and cycle. The conventional process was assumed to determine the cycle with the measurement error component.
