Article Abstract:

The menu approach remains the most acceptable in the Ben-Akiva and Gershenfeld paper on bundling because the situation takes into account a firm that is planning to adopt bundling strategies. Moreover, the menu approach is applicable as the market prediction problem cannot be simplified as the choice experiment and that the approach is more efficient that a design-based choice experiment as the experiment may have limited information content.

Multi-featured products and services: analysing pricing and bundling strategies

Article Abstract:

An analysis of marketing strategies based on pricing and bundling reveals that the menu data and discrete choice modelling approach can provide effective market assessments of goods and services. An evaluation of the model reveals that significant increases in demand may be generated through the use of effective packaging strategies at reasonable prices with the model directly accounting for a firm's cost structure.
