Sensitivity of optimal growth paths with respect to a change in target stocks or in the length of the planning horizon in a multisector model

Article Abstract:

A study on optimal growth path sensitivity by Nermouth published in 1978 permits to great a set of attainable target stocks, a point noted by Prajit Dutta. A new and more limited approach to attainability, which can be described as strong attainability, can be used to replace the original approach in order to correct this error. If a terminal stock level can be achieved using a small initial level of stocks, and a limited amount of time, then this can be described as strongly attainable.

Acyclic and positive responsive social choice with infinite individuals: an alternative 'invisible dictator' theorem

Article Abstract:

A novel version of the 'invisible dictator' theorem has been developed, which differs from the previous version set out by Kirman and Sondermann, and which has developed from an investigation of Arrovian Impossibility Theorem. The results of this study show transivity rationality replaced by acyclic rationality, a condition which cannot be ameliorated through introducing positive responsivenes into Arrovian social choice functions.

On strongly consistent social choice functions

Article Abstract:

Social choice functions can be described as strongly consistent where strong equilibrium profiles, developed through eliminating less desirable alternatives, can be found for all consumers' preference profiles. This involves setting up elimination schemes, and identifying eliminable blockings. Examples of eliminable blockings include Holzman's blockings, Moulin's blockings and neutral blockings.
