A question of moral authority

Article Abstract:

An insight into the tangible skills and intangible traits that lieutenants are believed to carry into the Operating Forces is presented. The authors' concerns regarding the fighter/leader concept indicate that there is misunderstanding of the way the concept is taught and what it means for the lieutenant.

Tactical information operations in operation Iraqi freedom

Article Abstract:

The Marines are still unlikely to recognize the tangible value of Information Operations (IO) for the Marine air-ground task force. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit operations in Iraq illustrated the significance of synchronizing elements of tactical IO.
