A template for Europe: Bundeswehr's air defense concept follows the 'light, mobile' mandates

Article Abstract:

The German military is receiving the Leichte Flugabwehrsystem light air defense system. The system is based on Rheinmetall Landsystem Wiesel 2 light armored vehicles and include vehicles carrying a detection radar with integrated friend-or-foe capabilities and vehicles which carry suface-to-air missiles and communciations equipment.
