An aviation support analysis of the operational potential and logistical capabilities of a MEB in 2010

Article Abstract:

A study to evaluate the effectiveness of an amphibious Marine expeditionary brigade in 2010 was conducted, and it was determined that a brigade in 2010 would still rely on large quantities of sustainment, and that the challenges would include greater logistics demands due to the complexities of equipment and changes in equipment.

Warrant officers to the rescue

Article Abstract:

Warrant officers undergo extensive training, but the position is no longer part of the Marine air control squadron, and this has affected the core competency. Enlisted Marines have fewer job options and fewer personnel have special training to deal with situations.
