Spain authorizes Destroyer, Patrol Vessel Programs

Article Abstract:

Four programs for the Spanish armed forces, funded under the 2005 budget, were approved by the Spanish Cabinet and were authorized to be commenced immediately. The four authorized programs include the acquisition of one F-100 class destroyer, four Offshore Patrol Vessels, forty-five NH90 helicopters to be used in all services and short-range antitank missiles for the Army and Marines.
