Combat fatigue

Article Abstract:

The majority of the combat systems of the vehicles sent to Iraq by the U.S. are in a condition of 'too damaged to repair' while the rest would require intensive maintenance if they are to remain in working order. The U.S. Army needs to pay more attention to equipping the Guard and Reserve with cutting edge, capable equipment which are critical to the success of the long war against terrorists and their role in homeland defense.
