Crossroads in space

Article Abstract:

The defense of U.S. space systems, which are more vulnerable to attack that its aircraft and tanks, should be a high national priority. The responsibility for national security should also be better organized because conflict in space is virtually certain.

Strategy for changing times

The development of a national security strategy became a top defense priority following the terrorist attacks on September 11. The foundation for the first real defense strategy since the Cold War was laid out with high priority.
