Force structure development

Article Abstract:

The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) Force Structure Development serves as a blueprint for the Navy aimed to facilitate consistent and coherent planning and implementation process covering both procurement and infrastructure development as part of the whole modernization programme for the Navy. A more balanced and modernized RMN Fleet will provide the nation with credible maritime defense and deterrence, and hence RMN's main mission is to prepare and deploy naval forces to protect Malaysia's maritime interests in peace and ensure victory in war.

Future of the Royal Malaysian sea services

Article Abstract:

The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) helps in defending and patrolling the coastline, a large Economic Exclusion Zone (EEZ), the strategic waterway of the Malacca Strait and the contested waters of the South China Sea, including the Spartly Islands. The future of the RMN and other Malaysian sea services are discussed.

Overview of the Canadian Navy

An overview of the modernization programmes of the Canadian Navy and the construction programmes which includes the procurement of Joint Support Ship (JSS) programme is presented. Details of the various vessels forming part of the Canadian Navy are discussed.
