Joint deployment process transformation

Article Abstract:

The joint deployment process (JDP) is undergoing transformation and is trying to improve its capability to deploy U.S. military force. The process of transformation includes revision of joint doctrine, development of new process maps and narratives and newer training exercises arde all part of the collaboration.

Korea: Proving ground for Marine doctrine

The situation in Korea during World War II provided an ideal proving ground for the training and strategies of the Marine Corps. Flexibility and adaptability were crucial elements of Marine success in World War II, and the warfare in Korea secured the Corps' political foundations.
