Medal of Honor citations

Article Abstract:

US Army Sergeant William R. Jecelin received the Medal of Honor for his courageous actions during combat with his platoon. US Army Private First Class Mack A. Jordan received the Medal of Honor for his courageous actions during a night attack. Both awards were posthumous.

Article Abstract:

Two US Army corporals, Charles L. Gilliland and Clair Goodblood, were awarded the Medal of Honor for their heroic service in the Korean War. Both men volunteered to stay behind and cover the withdrawal of their respective units.

Article Abstract:

Private First Class Jack G. Hanson, and First Lieutenant Lee R. Hartell were both mortally wounded in action during the Korean War. The Medal of Honor was awarded pothumously to both men for their bravery.
