Netherlands nears agreement on Norwegian NASAMS purchase

Article Abstract:

Netherlands might finally sign up to an acquisition of ex-Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) ground-based air-defense systems that are part of a combined proposal submitted to the Netherlands Defense Material Organization by an industry team. The industry team proposes to meet the Phase 2 and 3 requirements of the Royal Netherlands Army's (RNLA's) future ground-based air-defense system program in one go.

Norway's littoral striker shapes up

Article Abstract:

The Kongsberg-developed Naval Strike Missile (NSM) is set to become the primary surface warfare weapon system for the Skjold-class craft and the RnoN's (Royal Norwegian Navy) five Fridtjof Nansen-class new frigates. The main aim is to avoid detection by target defenses by using low radar cross-section, passive operation, and precisely navigation.
