New radars signal upgrade of Polish air defence network

Article Abstract:

The Polish Air Force has taken delivery of the first two of the three N-12M `Edyta-M' new generation 3-D long range D-band air surveillance radars, which are also known commercially as TRD-1230s. The new radars will be installed during 2005 and 2006 at three places namely-Lask, Krakow and near Biala Podlaska, in Poland.

Polish RKS-8000 HF radio enters low-rate production

Article Abstract:

The CTM naval warfare research and development centre of the Polish ministry will undertake the production of the RKS-8000 software-defined vehicle-based HF radio. The CTM is also planning to develop a new variant to this equipment, which can be ready for production by December 2005.
