Article Abstract:

Small Craft Company (SCC) has 16 platoons capable of manning 16 of the reverine assault craft and is the only reverine capability in the entire US and the entire Department of Defense. SCC is a unit that requires some security at launch sites, fuel resupply, and the same ground quick reaction force that convoys other patrols need while across the line of departure.

Status of the Iraqi Security Force

Article Abstract:

The Iraqi Army is competent with T55 tanks and Russian made armored personnel carriers as well as the Iraqi Navy is conducting joint operations employing patrol boats and naval infantry with Great Britain's Royal fleet auxiliary diligence. The Iraqi Air Force deserves four operational squadrons, consisting C-130s, UH-1s and Comp Air surveillance UH-1s.
