Royal Navy Maritime Warfare School sets the scene for future weapon training

Article Abstract:

The European Training and Simulation Association (ETSA) visit to the UK Royal Navy (RN) Maritime Warfare School (MWS) at the RN shore base HMS Collingwood has shown the dedication of the RN to modern training, with good facilities. The extensive use of simulators and trainers and their contribution in enabling the MWS to become the hub for the future weapons training in the RN are discussed.

The Polish Naval Academy

Article Abstract:

The history and the mission of the Polish Naval Academy are described. It is a proper successor of the commendable traditions of the Polish naval education facilities, which have trained Polish Navy officers for more than eighty years, and its main mission is to train candidates to become commissioned officers, maritime specialists that are needed by the Polish Navy.

COMSEC in Naval warfare

Article Abstract:

The importance of communications security in naval warfare and factors threatening them are discussed. Technological solutions in addition to personnel training should be provided so that penetration attempts can be detected reported and blocked.
