Russian offers on market of light craft and patrol boats

Article Abstract:

Development trends in the shipbuilding industry in the 21st century has made European and many other countries to plan to obtain patrol boats and light crafts that provide sufficient firepower, high speed and agility for quite moderate building and operational expenses as compared to larger frigates, corvettes and cruisers from the Russian shipbuilding industry. Russian shipbuilding industry offers a wide range of various ships: patrol vessels, minesweepers, missile gunboats and patrol boats.

Modular ship design

Article Abstract:

The number of naval ships is decreasing in the 21st century due to shrinking financial and human resources. The navies are expected to retain or build up the capability of the ships for doing varied tasks by applying the Modular Ship Design or of a multipurpose platform, which can accommodate the necessary number of products for a specific role or task.
