Saab Dynamics: from HELIOS to SEOS 200

Article Abstract:

Saab Dynamics introduces SEOS-200 (Saab Stabilized Electro-Optical System), which exemplifies the years of experience the company has in designing observation and fire-control systems for helicopters. The advanced and all-purpose multi-sensor system integrates inputs from different types of sensors, including visual and IR wavelength. An image processing software automatically changes sensors to fit the image scene. Three field of views (FOWs) options - wide, medium and narrow - allow the user to either focus on details or magnify the image, facilitating the identification of targets.
