Swiss Army expands laser simulation training

Article Abstract:

The Swiss Army intends to relocate its prototype SIMUG (Simulations Unterstutzung for Gefechtsubung) force-on-force collective training system from its combat training centre (CTC) at St Luzisteig to another at Bure. The SIMUG is based on the CODARTS (Combined Arms Direct Fire and Artillery Training System) laser-based live combat training simulation system jointly developed by RUAG Electronics and German company COEL.

Cadpeople utilizes gaming platform for FAC training system

Article Abstract:

Denmark, in conjunction with Danish Learning and Training Systems (DJS) has developed a simple training system for forward air controllers (FACs). FAC was developed in close co-operation with operationally experienced Danish forward air controller (FAC) with an objective providing communication and procedure training in a simulated environment.

Royal Navy's simulation training aims for more than a semblance of reality

Article Abstract:

The U.K. Royal Navy is set to provide training to sailors that prepare them not only through a detached medium, but also with terrifying immediacy of battle damage by simulations. The training would develop their skills and test their courage.
